In on
of the first typography sessions we were asked to categorize the fonts we had
brought. We were able to choose how we wanted to categorize the fonts. In our
group we first chose to separate them into sans serif, serif, script,
blackletter and graphic.
Once we
had categorized them like that we chose to separate them into the materials
they would have originally been made from. These were; bone, sable, wood,
stone, lead and silicon.
